GS3 MP or GS3 AV?
Since 2007, the GS3 has set the standard for professional espresso machines for the home. The model is available in two versions: AV (auto-volumetric) and MP (manual paddle) .
The AV version provides precise and repeatable shots as it is programmed by water volume. The MP version, on the other hand, provides full manual control over pre-infusion, pressure and brewing time via the paddle. In short: the AV is like a modern sports car with electronic gearshift, while the MP feels like a classic car with manual transmission.
